We all have a Notepad document full of web links to things we want to look over at a later date, because we can't be bothered to create bookmarks. A better alternative is Ron's WebLynx, which lets you save and organize web links, tag them and much more. Instead of just pasting them into a plain text document and forgetting what each link leads to, you can have a well-organized library and find what you're looking for at a moment's notice.

At the time of writing, Ron's WebLynx is still in early access, but the software behaves like a finished product, with no noticeable issues. It's absolutely free, and it runs on all modern Windows platforms. The application doesn't require too many resources and it doesn't rely on any third party tools or drives.

WebLynx's user interface looks like an Explorer window, but with more options. You can create folders and sub-folders on the left side of the window, and populate them with links, which you can see in the larger area on the right. The best part is that you can paste links at a moment's notice, by right-clicking and selecting "Paste" or by hitting CTRL+V on the keyboard as if you were pasting the link in a text file. There is also a way that involves a few more steps, but it gives you more options. You can define a link entry on a separate window, on which you can check the corresponding website and icons, add descriptions and more.

If you have a large number of bookmarks in your browser, you can import them into Ron's WebLynx without any effort. The software can find all the bookmarks you have in Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox and copy the links into its own database. You can rate your links from one to five stars and you can also tag them with different colors, to make it easier to spot your favorite pages, links to blogs or applications and any other web content you want to access faster.

With Ron's WebLynx, you can have all your favorite web content neatly organized in an easy-to-access library.

Pros

You can save and organize your favorite web links. The software lets you sort them in folders and tag them with different colors.

Cons

There are no obvious issues to address.
